One of the most joyous and endearing moments for me at this year’s Glastonbury Festival came from watching Jamie XX deliver his set on the Friday evening at The Woodsies. Alongside the triumphant set came an onstage reunion of The XX with Romy and Oliver delivering an emotional rendition of You’ve Got the Love. Finally special guest, Robyn, who joined Jamie on stage for the elating closer, Life. Sketch of the week, ‘By The Sea'

What l’m attempting to learn…

I really loved watching, City of the Sun cover The XX during a Sofar NYC session, beautiful tremolo picking on the guitar. So, time to get the loop pedal out and let those single notes ring! (With perhaps a little less hair/head-banging from this side) Following on from that, time to hop to the piano, I loved this Gorillaz cover of Crystalised.
